Jonathan’s Convoy In Nasarawa Auto Crash, 14 Injured
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Umar Shehu, has on Tuesday confirmed that the convoy of President Goodluck Jonathan was involved in an auto crash
the day before, leaving 14 persons injured.
According to the eyewitnesses, three confessional policemen, three mobile policemen, one member of the civil defence corps, as well as one official of the state branch of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and six civilians were “seriously injured”.
Mr Shehu claimed the state government had since released funds for the treatment of all the victims. He added that some of the victims have been discharged but those who have serious fracture were still at the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia.
According to him, the accident happened when the vehicle of a prison officer ran into the convoy of the president and collided with one of the riders, who somersaulted and thereafter ran into the crowd.
“They are all responding to treatment at the hospital. Some have fractures on their legs.
“The prison officer sustained minor injury. He is still in police custody while investigation is ongoing,” he said.
It will be recalled that the president was in Lafia for the inauguration of the newly constructed Federal High Court and Ta’al Model School constructed by the present administration in the state.
He was represented by Vice-President Namadi Sambo.

How my mother sold my baby – 17-year-old girl
Godspower, on Wednesday narrated how her mother sold her (Godspower) eight-month-old baby.
The mother, Onyinyechi Nwabueze, 38, was paraded by the police at the ‘A’ Division of the Plateau State Police Command.
Policemen from the division, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Mr. Victor Dimkpa, a Chief Superintendent of Police, had rescued the baby, Chiamaka, in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
The story was exclusively reported by PUNCH Metro on Friday.
Blessing, who was staying with her mother at Rukuba Road area of Jos North, was allegedly put in the family way by her boyfriend.
After Chiamaka was delivered, Godspower’s mother, who was not comfortable with the development, allegedly decided to get rid of the baby.
According to Blessing, on July 19, her mother sent her on a phony errand in order to effect the “diabolical” act.
She said, “My mother sent me on an errand, but when I came back I asked for my baby and my mother asked, ‘which baby?’ She feigned ignorance and at that point I started crying and reported the incident to the Police.”
Police Commissioner, Mr. Chris Olakpe said, “After the mother sent her daughter away, she (Nwabueze) stopped a tricycle and took the baby to the first receiver, one Eucharia Anyaegbu. Anyaegbu transferred the baby to the second receiver, Rita Maduako, who finally sold the baby to 53-year-old unmarried woman, Grace Nnadozie.”
Nnadozie, however, told our correspondent that after she applied to an orphanage home for a child without any result for the past two years, she sought Anyaegbu’s help.
She said she gave N500,000 to Anyaegbu for the baby. Anyaegbu gave N350, 000 to Maduako. Maduako was to give N200,000 to the baby’s grandmother.
But Nwabueze denied that she sold the baby. She said her daughter was very wayward, so she decided to give the baby out to somebody else who would take proper care of her.
She said, “How can I sell my granddaughter. My daughter is not capable of taking care of the baby and I decided to give her to somebody who will take proper care of her.”
Nwabueze explained that she lost her husband in 2007 and since then, she and the six children she had with him, had been finding things difficult.

'It Was The Devil, I'm Sorry' - Evicted BBA Housemate Begs Boyfriend On Live TV For Flirting In The House
After dandling with Tanzania’s Nando during her stay in the Big Brother house, Ghana’s Selly has asked for her boyfriend’s forgiveness for all her misdeeds.
ModernGhana reports that while making a surprise guest appearance on The Late Nite Celebrity Show, Selly, as she is affectionately called pleaded for forgiveness from the hip-life artiste, a member of the duo, Praye, after her name was dragged in the mud for her supposedly sexual escapade with Tanzanian house mate, Nando.
‘I am very thankful for the opportunity given me. I want to thank my boyfriend, Praye Tietia and also use this opportunity to say I am very sorry (for all that happened),’ she said. ‘I am very sorry,’ she insisted.
The Ghanaian representative came under a lot of bashing from outside the house when she was caught on camera supposedly having sex with Tanzania housemate, Nando. Though she has denied that there was any sexual intercourse with her male counterpart, the Tanzanian has insisted otherwise saying he contracted an STD from Selly.
Nando in a conversation with fellow housemate, Bimp disclosed that Selly gave him chlamydia, a Sexually Transmitted Disease, after the incident.
When host, Laila Abubakari asked her about the possible winner of the show, she did not hesitate to mention Ghanaian housemate, Elikem, as her hopeful winner. Before making the proclamation, Elikem was up for possible eviction from the house the Sunday after Selly was confident he will stay in the house till the final day of the show.
Selly was evicted from the Big Brother The Chase house a week ago after getting less votes from Ghanaians. Running for a three month period, Big Brother Africa has got many glued to their television sets as they watch to vote for the best housemate who relates better and is able to play the human related game best until the last day.

Kehinde Said He Would Buy Me A Car, New House. Why Now? I Don't Need That - Funke Akindele
In a revealing chat with E-247 magazine, Funke Akindele sort of replied her husband's interview with Encomium magazine that he was building a house for her before she walked out.
Though Kehinde was the first to go public with the news of their separation via popular social network site, Facebook, Funke Akindele gave her ears to her in-laws who felt she could still change her mind and that separation actually is not the solution to the problem.
Funke told E24-7MAGAZINE on Friday:
That place is not for me, I have been through hell and back.
I was abused emotionally and verbally. Really, I felt we could work things out when the trouble started two months after the marriage.
But I made up my mind and shut the door of the marriage at him when the trouble was coming to me too much.
I stooped to conquer him; buried my fame and name to make him my husband, but it did not work. At a point in time, I asked if it's not the same man that was all over me before we married.
He nearly got me off my career. He called me severally; I did not pick his calls but when he realized my silence was tormenting him, he took to Facebook.
It's alright.
Ask him when did he come to my house last? He left me here in my rented apartment with nothing and he will just dash in and dash out. He gets abusive, caustic anytime we have a misunderstanding and often told me to my face, he's going to his wife in Oshodi.
He sent me SMS that he has seen a buyer for his house at Adeniyi Jones for N40million. He asked me if he should sell it and that if he does, he will buy me a new car and a rent me a new apartment.
Why now? I don't need all that, I want my sanity. I respect him to the end but he chose to treat me that way. He said he wanted to clip my wings.
After Funke ignored him, he sent her another text abusing her and calling her names.
“So you can see that he does not mean well for me,” Funke re-iterated.
E24-7 checks revealed as at Saturday evening that Kehinde was combing the nooks and crannies of Ikorodu to locate Funke's dad's house.
Now that the cookie has crumbled, Kehinde has been calling and sending text messages, begging her to come back.
He boasted: “I will do anything to win my wife back.”
Observers of the marriage from inception feel that when fame and money come to a meeting point in a relationship, it will result in problems if the couple are not committed and disciplined.
Funke and Kehinde rarely spent substantial time together even at the peak of their marriage.
Both kept to hectic schedules by virtue of their chosen professions.
While Funke is often involved in back-to-back shooting on movie sets, Kehinde jumps from one construction site to another; pressing buttons for his political ambitions; and keeping dates with his wife at home and other women by the side.
This sort of arrangement invariably makes keeping faith with the vows of the union very difficult. In the long run, suspicion will rear its ugly head and the couple will eventually drift apart, especially when they don't live under the same roof.
Besides, Kehinde's disturbing and haunting pasts have repeatedly stared Funke right in the face, and according to E24-7 MAGAZINE's impeccable source, Funke learnt shockingly that her once beloved hubby was expelled from the University of Jos almost as soon as he was matriculated as a student of the ivory tower.
His admission, according to our source, was faulty right from the beginning and since that first attempt at tertiary education went awry, he shut his door at education.
When he returned from Jos, he found strength in his entrepreneurial skill coupled with the influence and support of his mother, a market leader and successful businesswoman; he became an estate developer, building chains of shops in Oshodi market.
Gradually, he crept into politics and his popularity soared that he became a well-known grassroots politician and a great mobilizer.
More than twice, Kehinde, who belonged to the People's Democratic Party (PDP), and his supporters have clashed with the NATIONAL UNION OF ROAD TRANSPORT WORKERS (NURTW) Treasurer, MusiliuAkinsanya aka MC Oluomo an Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) loyalist.
Kehinde has also contested for elective posts twice; most recent, was the Oshodi/Isolo Constituency 1 House of Representatives in 2007 which he also lost.
Many years after, he reawakened his political ambition and quickly re-aligned himself by joining the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
To shore up his image, he found in Funke who has become monstrously popular with her movie, Jenifa and the sequel, The Return of Jenifa, a ready tool.
He convinced the favourite actress to lead him to the Leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he had assaulted many years ago during the market women leadership tussle between his mother, AlhajaAlmaroof and the late Iyaloja General Alhaja Abibat Mogaji.
After he atoned for his 'sins,' he joined the train of well- wishers that went to London to felicitate with the former governor when one of his sons graduated from a university in London.
Reliable sources told E24-7 MAGAZINE that Kehinde's lost bid to win the contract to rebuild Oshodi market really threw him off balance and that probably made him to turn the heat on his latest wife, Funke who wanted his attention.
Despite the ill-fated turn that the relationship has taken, many of Funke's fans can't help but wonder if she hadn't known that the union was doomed to fail from the onset.
The reason for this thinking is not far-fetched;
firstly, Funke opted for the Muslim marriage even when many thought that she would go to the court registry to cement her marriage with Oloyede.
Secondly, sources close to the family said Kehinde was warned by spiritualists not to venture into the marriage but he declined and did not share it with Funke.
In the same vein, Funke was told not to go into it by her parents but she asked them to respect her wish.
And as it plays out, she is free to remarry anytime she pleases without unnecessary legal impediments.
This and many other factors contribute to the opinion shared by many of her fans that the delectable thespian knew that the future of her marriage with Oloyede will not be as long, colourful and bright as it appeared with all the glam.
It's just too quick and too fast to break. Now that the requiem mass has been sung for the once celebrated union, one cannot but remember the view of controversial actress, Tonto Dikeh, who declared that Nollywood brides often marry “horribly.”
Sources close to Funke, who has returned to Asaba's movie location on Saturday morning, believe that though her action may not make perfect sense to many now as the confusion created may be laughed at while she goes through the tears, she's confident that she will smile again.

When Dillish's turn came, the Namibian cutie stumbled over her words and because of her fumble, was forced to stríp. "Take it off, take it off!" the boys shouted. At first, Dillish protested telling her waiting audience "I'm so weak from the alcohol". However, the gang was having none of that and waited on her to stríp. And stríp she did.
Ghana's Elikem also got to stríp down as well and so did Beverly, who flashed a bit of side-bóob.

'The Night I Slept With Davido Was The Hottest Ever' - Kenyan Musician, Pendo (PHOTO)
A lot has been said concerning socialite/bad girl Pendo, Davido and their alleged romp this past weekend when the superstar was in town.
Well we want to put ALL the rumours to rest. First of all, we have the interview that has everyone up in arms that Davido denied Pendo’s existence. And keep your eyes open for more on that.
Secondly, I personally decided to call up Pendo and ask her what was the REAL deal. So here is our conversation (partly redacted to get right down to all the juicy parts) about everything.
So what is all this wahala about Davido blocking you off of his facebook?
Pendo : If people had done even a little research, they would Davido does not even have a Facebook account. I NEVER said I was in touch with him through Facebook. I got in touch with him through a good friend of his *redacted* and that’s where everything started. He did the intro.
So, seriously, did you sleep with Davido?
Pendo: Errrrrrrrrrrm (laughs cheekily) (There is IRREFUTABLE proof that Pendo did spend the night with Nigerian superstar, if you want to see it plead with her on twitter @LoveStaicey to release it.) In the meantime, have this picture of Davido, topless, in his hotel room from his personal instagram. Maybe Pendo took it # troll
So why did you do this? Do you do this for money?
Pendo: (Laughs) No, I didn’t get money from him. I didn’t WANT money from him. I did it simply cuz I find him hot and he is pretty legit in the music industry in Africa. Yeah, I am attracted by his talent, his fame, his power, but honestly, who isn’t? And people are talking so much because a lot of women wanted to be in my shoes, but were not. I’m not afraid to go after what I want. That’s just me. And I am unapologetic for it. I am content that I got what I wanted -which was to know him- and I guess it just naturally progressed from there…
So was this a one time thing then?
Pendo: No, I would do it again. Gladly. I don’t regret it at all.
Of course you know now I am gonna ask about the “D”. Free reign, choose your own words to describe it.
Pendo: He was perfect.
Nooooooooo, more than that. DESCRIPTION.
Pendo: (Laughing) Ok, ok. Errrrrrrrrrrm, he is much better than your “average Kenyan”. He is big. Both length and width. (Giggles) And best part is he REALLY knows what he is working with.
Haha, so you loved ALL OF HIM. (SN: Hehe, see what I did there?)
Pendo: (Giggles) Ha, you won’t let this go will you. Haha, no seriously though, he has CRAZY moves, he kept it fresh for a couple hours. I am impressed. Definitely the best…(hesitates) Ok maybe not the best I ever had, but he is up there.
So was this a one night stand or will you be seeing him again?
Pendo: Davido is not only a good lover but a gentleman. Not only did he not publicise the affair, but he left me with some personal mementos to remember him. I don’t think a one night stand does that. Plus there is still communication going on. I’m not saying we are dating, but we are definitely still talking. He did not “hit it and quit it”.
Watch this space to see if Pendo goes to visit Davido in Nigeria. A little birdie tells me that this may be a high possibility right now. And seriously, wouldn’t a Pendo/Davido dalliance be so Rihanna/ChrisBrown-esque (bad girls get the bad boys and they don’t give a damn.?

A Tale Of A Pastor And His Sacred Sperm Milk
Valdeci Sobrino Picanto is a Brazilian Evangelical Pastor. He has been arrested after deceiving the faithful using the name of the "Holy Spirit", by saying foolish lies.
He said his penis was blessed and that "the Lord had consecrated him with divine milk of the ''Holy Spirit" and, of course, he had to release it in order to "evangelize".
"He has convinced us that only God could come into our lives through our mouth and that's why he would do what he did". Often, after worship, pastor Valdeci would take us to where the funds were kept at the back of the Church and asked us to have Oral sex with him until the Holy Spirit would come through ejaculation". This is the testimony of one of his victims.
The pastor is already in jail, but said he intends to continue watering his cellmates with his sacred milk.

Photo: Woman Sets 11-Year-Old Maid Ablaze Over Piece Of Meat
From Vanguard
Policemen at Bode Thomas division of Lagos State command, Tuesday, arrested a
woman who allegedly set her 11-year-old house maid ablaze in Surulere area of Lagos, for stealing a piece of meat from her pot of soup.
The maid identified as Ita Bassey-Eno who reportedly escaped death by the whiskers, is currently at the Burns and Trauma Centre of the Gbadaga General Hospital, with doctors battling to save her life.
Although her mistress, a staff nurse at an undisclosed hospital in Surulere, Mrs Nkese Iroakazi, reportedly denied the allegation at the police station, the ailing girl was said to have managed to state that she allegedly poured kerosene on her before striking a stick of matches to set her on fire.
The incident, as gathered, occurred last Saturday at 7, Adeniran Ogunsanya Street, after Ita rushed out of the apartment with fire on her, apparently in an attempt to plunge into a gutter. Unfortunately, she reportedly fell before she could get to the gutter.
One of the residents was said to have succeeded in putting out the fire with the aid of a fire extinguisher, before she was rushed to the hospital.
Eyewitness account
A resident who simply identified herself as Morakinyo told Vanguard: “I was just alighting from the bus when I saw people gathered in front of the building. When I got there, I saw Ita whom we all call Eno on the floor. Then, the flame had been put out.
“Two men who attempted to carry her into a car could not because the skin at that time had peeled off. They had to get a slab, placed her on it and rushed her to the hospital. From what I gathered, the girl has spent barely one month in Lagos before the incident.
“She was brought from her village in Akwa Ibom State last month alongside another girl called Happiness. Since then, we have not seen either of them going to school.
“We heard that while Happiness was in the sitting room, there was a cry from Ita in the kitchen and before she (Happiness) knew what was happening, Ita rushed out of the kitchen and straight to the road shouting for help.
“How could someone who has children of her own treat another’s like this? It was even the residents that alerted policemen who came to pick Mrs Iroakazi.”
When Vanguard visited the hospital, Tuesday, a doctor who spoke on condition of anonymity expressed fear about the victim’s condition, revealing that she suffered 95 per cent burns.
“It will take a miracle for her to survive. In any case, we are trying all we can to ensure she gets back on her feet. That will entail some surgeries because her private part was badly damaged.
“Currently, she wears pampers and that area needs immediate surgery after the injuries would have healed.”
Ita was sighted with bandage all over her body, except her face and feet. When a nurse approached her to administer the day’s treatment, she groaned in pains.
As at 3 p.m yesterday, police sources told Vanguard that the suspect would be transferred to the state Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba for further investigation.

8 Lesbian Girls Expelled From Secondary School
Barely a week after the the local newspaper covered a story about the rising number of lesbians in Girls High Schools all over the country,
the administration has now sent home eight girls over the matter.
The school’s principal, Pacifica Nyambong’i said that a group of eight students in Form Two, who were also jointly being investigated for arson claims, had been sent home and others readmitted after undergoing counseling and promising to change. The principal admitted that some Form Two students confessed to being lesbians who had lovers in the school while other girls denied the allegations.
“I received a note listing some girls as suspected lesbians who also planned to burn down the school on December 10th, we embarked on investigations to unearth the truth,” Ms Nyambog’i revealed. Those who confessed to being lesbians were forgiven, counseled and readmitted but those who denied were sent home.
The parents of those sent home have however mounted a strong defence to the allegations claiming that their girls were beaten during the interrogations in order to admit by force.
Also, Anglican run St James Girls High School in Zimbabwe has been hit by a lesbian s*x scandal which has resulted in the expulsion of pupils, one of them for offering a teacher s*x in exchange for lenience after being caught in the act.
The scandal reportedly started in June when two Form Six pupils were caught by fellow pupils in the middle of the night having a nice time under the sheets, BMetro reported. A report was made to school authorities.
After a probe, the two girls (names withheld) were suspended for two weeks. According to a source, the pupils showed remorse during the disciplinary hearing and promised to give up the lesbian antics. On returning to school after serving the sentence, the two are said to have kept a distance from each other.
“Everyone was convinced that they had indeed stopped their behaviour. They even stopped talking to each other and we all thought that the relationship was over. Little did we know that we were being fooled,” said a source.
"I was building a house for Funke(Jenifa) before she left' - Estranged Husband
In an interview with Encomium magazine, Funke Akindele's estranged husband revealed he was building a house for his wife before she ended the marriage.
It's a one-storey building (uncompleted) located off Adeniji Jones in Ikeja
Mr Oloyede, who said he's not happy about what y'all been saying about him online, told the mag
"They wrote that I am a tout, from what you are seeing here now, do I look like a tout or garage boy? They also said I'm a drop out, from the way you and I have been speaking, do I speak like someone who did not go to school? I have decided to follow the advice of those who said I should not join issues with her and her supporters. I am not a celebrity. I am an estate developer. She is the star that has her career to protect and I don't want to be the one to spoil her career.
"I must date with a man for 5yrs before I marry him' -Eniola Badmus
When asked about her marriage plans in a new interview, Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus said she must date a guy for at least five years before
she will consider marrying him. Eniola said:
"What is the point if I marry today and tomorrow it's over? What's the essence? I am living my life. I will have a baby when necessary. Marriage is good but what's the essence of me getting married today and tomorrow I'm not in it? For any man I am going to marry or call my husband we should be together for five years before we walk down the aisle. We may have children but at least after five years I will know that you're ready for me. Not getting married today, and tomorrow he's out! I've seen it happen to my friends, I don't want to go through that trauma.
Erm, that you date a guy for five years doesn't guarantee that the marriage will last...or does it? :-)

"If my husband cheats, I will castrate him' - Uche Jombo
In this interview with Sam Olatunji, Uche Jombo speaks on cheating and new movie ‘Unconditional’.
What is it with the celebrity kids on your new movie, ‘Unconditional’?
We didn’t set out to use celebrity kids. I told everyone including you the age range I want and people suggested the kids. Aghahowa’s daughter has wanted to act since age 5, we auditioned Chigozie, and she did well and got a coach to coach them. 2face’s daughter is just a drama queen. And this movie, Unconditional is not all about them, Dakore, Ruth Kadiri and I acted in it. It’s the kind of move that will touch the heart.
If your husband were to be a serial philanderer like Desmond’s character in the movie, Lies Men Tell, what will you do?
I will castrate him, he knows and believes that. To me, there is no excuse to cheat, its either you are with someone or not, and if you are tired of the person, please accord the person decency of respect by saying it’s over. Don’t go making someone look stupid. The problem with me is there is no in- between.
Do you believe what you are saying or are you saying it for the purpose of this interview?
I am saying,Uche Jombo-Rodrigues doesn’t have in-between. That is the reason it takes me long time to make a decision or take a stand on something, but when I do, that is it. There is no excuse not to honour an agreement you have made, this doesn’t have anything to do with this interview. It is the principle that guides me. It is not just about marriage, it’s how I conduct my relationships, its either it is this or that, if that is mymind-set in a relationship, you should know that for marriage it’ll be 150%. There is no room for cheating.
So you believe your husband will or should not cheat on you?
I don’t have control over what someone will do, I’m not God. I’m talking about me, how I conduct things. It’s not an option that it will happen, I will not tolerate cheating.
Are you saying you will not forgive the man who cheats on you and is manly enough to say I’m sorry?
If you are in that situation Sam, oh God! You are going to slave for me for life. And do you know any man that will want to slave for a woman for life, answer?
Is it true you are older than your husband and the man you dated before him?
I have never dated or married someone I was older than in my life. If you have the illusion of someone’s age, that is your business, and I am even too mature for my age. That is the problem, because men of my age are ‘small boys’ around me, I can’t date them. I am someone who has to become a mother to some of my siblings at the age of 14. Because you are an under-achiever does not mean I should play down on my achievement. If age is the yard stick for you to succeed, you should not judge people with it, I don’t have an apology. If I’m learning from people who are older than me that is because I don’t hang out with my age mates; I don’t think there is anything else you want to teach me, and if you want to judge me by the people I hang out with or by when I started my hustle, where the hell were you at that time? What really matters to me is that people who know me during my not-too-proud days are so proud that, this is me now. I have come far, it’s something I’m grateful for, and I couldn’t have even written it better if it were a story.
From NDB Reader: Why You Should Date In Your University Days
I'm writing this letter just to encourage the men that haven't found their better half. Let me tell you this short story.
I met my boyfriend in the university and we've been dating since then. Been almost 4yrs now and I tell you, he (MTL) is the best thing that has happened to me.
He's not entirely rich, and he's not poor. But he gives me what he has and what I ask from him. And no, I'm not ugly, poor, cripple, blind or dumb. I'm a pretty and an intelligent girl. We may have our problems (which are usually mighty) but I've got his back and he's got mine. I appreciate him and I tell anyone who cares to listen.
Back to men. When the right girl comes your way, you'll know. Don't look for the richest, the most popular, the best dressed, etc. Look for the girl that sits at the back of the lecture hall and has an A at the end of the semester.
Look for the girl who is an SU than a girl who prefers clubbing every Friday night. Look for the girl who would rather study with you than use your money to pay someone who will write her exams for her.
Marriages these days end in divorce because you don't know who you're married too. A person's character is better revealed in the university because that's the first opportunity the person has at freedom. Be guided!
"I support the Underage Marriage Law Because Nigerian Men Are Already Rapists" - Kemi Olunloyo
The controversial Kemi who has declared her intention to run for Governor of Oyo state come 1015, posted this on her blog..

"I support the UNDERAGE marriage LAW but encourage any girl to say NO if they don't want to marry...YET!
Nigerians please start pushing the GAY marriage out too and get your wish and stop being cowards.
IF YOU PUT MARRIAGE BILLS ON THE 2015 BALLOT LIKE DEVELOPED COUNTRIES DO, I'LL BE HAPPY.
I changed my mind. Let these girls MARRY at their own will if they want.
Let them get an education if some rich or caring man wants to care for them.
From studying Nigerians, many of you are certified rapists, incestual and pure cruel to girls period. Read our Nigerian Tribune piece by Monica Taiwo how Nigerians are seriously ruining lives of girls.
Many girls have approached me @HipHossip on twitter and in person and phone telling me that family members violate them the most. Some however did not want to marry that young fearing they will lose their education. I will rather see them as small wives that are loved than rape and incest victims. Here in my hometown, the girls hawking in the motorparks are being raped all hours of the day and nobody does anything about it. You people are straight up frauds with the #ChildNotBride issue.
For some of you on my page who dig your fingers into 10 year old vaginas, God will punish you straight up! That is why your stupid lines have pens not penis, education not ejaculation etc. You are fucking corrupt in Nigeria secretly teaching them about sex in your lines and you dare collage these Senators as perverts and pedophiles. Long as the girls are not slaves I'm OK with it.
Modern slavery of any kind will get you ripped my me. If you are gonna get them pregnant, take care of them. Most teen pregnancies happen in developed countries by 15 anyway so my take is to take care of these girls. Nigerian men have been marrying out their daughters for ages. Being a law now is no big deal. Human rights here does not include gays and lesbians. Give everyone the right of marriage. LIKE America's DOMA, Marry who you love!
That Underage marriage bill will PASS!
AMEN
Watch me inform teen girls about the bill in my hometown Ibadan and what they had to say. It was a wrong message at first but now I informed the girls of my changed decision to get their education and not be forced.

Second, I did not entertain any form of distractions. I did not attend parties, and I did not have any girlfriend or what you may refer to as a lover. I concentrated on my studies.”
His study style?
Eromhonsele reveals that apart from the serene environment in the school, which is conducive for learning, he loves to read late into the night.
According to him, he started reading from 10.00pm and he won’t stop until 1.00am.

On His Parents

“My parents were very supportive. They always reminded me of the home I’m from, and they also urged me to take my studies seriously,” he notes.

No Plans To Call off Strike - ASUU
ACADEMIC Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has described as speculative reports that the strike embarked upon by the union
over the inability of the Federal Government to implement the 2009 agreement it willingly entered into with the union would be called off this Thursday.
National President of ASUU, Dr. Nasir Fagge, told Vanguard that he was surprised to hear that the union was going to call off the strike on Thursday when the issues tabled before government had not been resolved. Faggae said: “There is nothing like that (suspending the strike). I am also surprised to hear people say that we are going to call off the strike. He said: “Our members have made it categorically clear what they want. This meeting we had with government on Friday at the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, is just exploratory. “We are trying to look at issues holistically and see how we are going to address them.
So assignments were given to various people that attended the meeting and the expectation is that we will meet tomorrow (today), Monday and look at the assignment given and also look at it on Thursday again. “So, that is why I’m surprised to hear people say that we are going to suspend strike on Thursday. The mandate of our members is very clear. So, we will wait and see what the Monday and Thursday meetings unfold and then we report back to our members.
” On how long it would take ASUU leaders to convene a meeting with its members after the meeting with government on Thursday, the ASUU boss said “we are in constant consultation with our members, we don’t really have problems with that. “After the meeting, we will decide when to link up with our members depending upon what is placed on table on Thursday.” Commenting on the speculation that the union might suspend the strike if the government met up to 50 per cent of the agreement, Faggae said the union would prefer to get to the bridge before crossing it.
He commended the positive disposition of the Joint Senate and House of Representatives Committee on Education towards the resolution of the crisis. Fagge added: “For us, the interaction we have had with the Joint Committee clearly indicates that they are concerned like other Nigerians”.
“This is expected of the representatives of people. You see the problem has always been that the executive arm of government does not really hearken to advise that are given on how best to address the problems on education in this country. “We are convinced as a union that the only thing the government can really do for Nigerians is to avail them of education. “Once you are able to do that, you will see that people will be able to generate jobs and they will be able to take care of themselves and contribute to nation building. So that is the argument we are placing on the table.”

Obasanjo was a very troublesome student - VC, NOUN
The Vice Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Professor Vincent Ado Tenebe, on Monday recalled that, former President Olusegun Obasanjo
was a very troublesome student who would call his lecturers at midnight on academic matters, but did very well to pass his courses in Christian Religious Theology.
The Vice Chancellor, who spoke during an interactive session organised by the Kaduna State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), however, gave credit to Obasanjo who as President in 2002, brought the university out of dormancy and academic activities commenced in 2003.
According to him, “President Obasanjo, when he became a student which he did by example, resuscitated the university. A good history of the university was that this university came into existence by an act of the National Assembly during the reign of President Shehu Shagari in 1982, unfortunately before the university could establish itself, the Military regime that took over suspended the act and that was the reason the university was in dormancy until when civilian rule under Obasanjo came on board and re cooperated the university in 2002 while in 2003, we started our academic programmes.”
“When Obasanjo became a student of the institution, he thought that it was an easy thing to do. When he was given all the courses, he realised it wasn’t easy and so he had to defer his admission. He said I would not take part in this until I finished my tenure as President and so he never studied while he was the President until he completed his tenure, then he started the course. He did a Post Graduate Diploma in Christian Theology.
He was a very troublesome student because he will not start calling until 12 mid night and keep you online until about 2.00a.m.
“Every time he gives us trouble, we pray that he graduates of which he did and his certificate was valid. In the course of his study, Obasanjo said he wanted to sit among the students.”
‘I want to do the same thing others are doing.’ Obasanjo was a very brilliant student and I can tell you there were lots of controversy when his papers were being marked. I won’t disclose the secret of how our papers are marked but it is marked from Port Harcourt to Lagos, Kano, Maiduguri and the markers will never know whose paper they are marking. So the old man is intelligent, his certificate is valid and was done according rules and regulations of the Nigerian University Commission (NUC),”he said.
On accreditation of courses in the university, Professor Tenebe said they had subjected 31 of their programmes to accreditation and had 30 of them, while the one that was denied accreditation was getting ready for the accreditation as NUC had gone through their book and certified that their Nursing programme was up to standard.
“On that note, they’ve allowed us to graduate students and students of nursing also participated in our convocation. They graduated and were given our certificate. So if anybody is holding the certificate of NOUN as a graduate of Nursing, any employer can confirm that from the NUC.
Talking about school of Law, it is one of the youngest schools in NOUN and we are yet to graduate our students.”
“ Some of our students are now getting to the final year, and like I told you earlier we have gone through the NUC accreditation and they have passed us. Now we are preparing for the Legal Council and Education and we are going to do that in conjunction with the NUC. And that I will continue to say that our law students are equal to the task, they can compete with any law students from any university in the world not only Nigeria.”
“ I can assure you that by the time we will present our curriculum to the Legal Council and Education, I am confident that we are going to pass. As I speak to you there is what is called National Competition that all universities that have faculty of law compete every year. NOUN is currently the champion. I told you I have five VCs of other universities among my law students and an experienced Monarch,” he said.

Collect your certificates before December or face penalty, WAEC tells millions of Nigerians
Over 40 years old certificates are still with WAEC.
The West Africa Examination Council, WAEC, has threatened to impose penalties on candidates who failed to collect their certificates on or before
December 31.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Deputy Director, Public Affairs, Yusuf Ari, on Monday in Lagos.
It stated that millions of certificates of candidates who sat for WAEC examinations since 1960s had long been signed but were not collected by candidates.
“We wish to inform the general public that certificates up to May/June 2012 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), conducted by WAEC have been printed and dispatched to schools for collection by candidates.
“And certificates for external candidates for up to November/December 2012 WASSCE diet, also conducted by the Council have also been printed and are equally awaiting collection by candidates at WAEC offices nationwide.
“The external candidates, especially who wrote the November/December examination diets are advised to go and collect their certificates from all our zonal branches or satellite offices in the states.
“We urge candidates to go to where they sat for the examination because we no longer have enough space to harbour them. Most of these certificates have been lying fallow in our various offices with no one coming forward to collect them.
“Candidates come in trickles for them, only when they have absolute need for them and I think it should not be so. We therefore wish to warn that WAEC will be charging extra fee for the custody of these certificates if the candidates failed to collect them later than December 31,” the statement said.

Quote of the day; Pope Francis on gay people
According to the Associated Press, below is what Pope Francis said when quizzed about gay priests during his transatlantic flight home following
a week-long trip to Brazil...
"Pope Francis reached out to gays on Monday, saying he wouldn’t judge priests for their sexual orientation.... "If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?" Francis asked.
Below is a longer version (and slightly different translation) of the Pope's quote via NCR:
"When I meet a gay person, I have to distinguish between their being gay and being part of a lobby. If they accept the Lord and have good will, who am I to judge them? They shouldn’t be marginalized. The tendency [to homosexuality] is not the problem...they’re our brothers.”

Pastor’s Wife Catches Huband With Female Church Member
An estranged pastor’s wife, Mrs. Rebecca Bamidele, has narrated to an Ojo Customary Court in Lagos, southwest Nigeria, how her husband,
Pastor Israel Bamidele, engaged his female prayer partner in his bedroom overnight, an act which she alleged contributed to the crashing of their 15-year old marriage.
Giving evidence in a divorce petition which her husband, a school proprietor and pastor, filed against her in the court, Rebecca said although her husband falsely accused her of infidelity, it was Bamidle who brought his prayer partner (names withheld) to his bedroom for prayers.
“I was surprised that my husband locked his prayer partner, wife of another man, in his bedroom overnight. The act not only led to cracks in our marriage but it also led to the break up in the female prayer partner’s home because after I had left him, people were still seeing my husband and the woman together.
“Her husband eventually sent her packing from her matrimonial home,” Rebecca disclosed.
Pastor Bamidele filed the divorce petition against his wife, claiming frequent fighting, lack of care and that he no longer loves Rebecca who bore him three children.
When asked the position of her husband’s family on the crisis that engulfed their relationship, Rebecca said she once travelled to Osun State in southwest Nigeria to meet her mother-in-law but the old woman said she should allow her husband marry another wife because her father-in-law, who is a prophet, married three wives, adding, “when I returned to Lagos, my husband quarrelled with me, saying why should I go to his homestead in Osun State to inform his mother about issues in our marriage in our Lagos home?”
Apart from the issue of hosting his prayer partner in his bedroom, Rebecca alleged that she caught the pastor sleeping with his school secretary for about a week but she could not complain because her husband would beat her silly.
She said, “anytime I complain, my husband will say I was becoming too stubborn for him. He would say in Yoruba, ‘ila ti n ga ju onire lo’, meaning, the okro plant was becoming taller than the farmer.”
When the court asked about the role played by other pastors and elders in the crisis, Rebecca said Pastor Bamidele is the founder and general overseer of his church and the other leaders were surbordinated to him because he appointed them.
The court president, Prince Hakeem Tunde Oyekan, adjourned the matter till 27 August, 2013 for judgement.

Bukky Ajayi Debunks Her Death Rumor
Earlier on today, word spread on the social media that Nollywood has yet again lost an icon - veteran actress and broadcaster, Bukky Ajayi.
While some reported that she is critically ill, others said she was dead.
But the aged actress told P.M.NEWS on phone this morning that she is hale and hearty.
My son, I was surprised to hear the rumour as well. About four people had called me concerning this issue, but I didn’t take it seriously until my daughter and her husband also called. I’m hale and hearty, and nothing is wrong with me.
If it was at a point when I was ill, perhaps, I won’t be surprised. But I’m very much okay now –that’s why I’m wondering where the rumour emanated from.”

Dear NDB men, do straight men watch gay porn?
From a male NDB reader
Dear Niyi, this is not a question for all your readers, just the male readers.
I need their sincere opinion on something because I have been crazily confused since I saw it. While using my younger brother's laptop a few days ago, I found gay porn movies saved on his computer. He hid the movies in a 'work folder' which no one's really supposed to find and I promise I wasn't snooping, I just accidentally found it. I'm very homophobic so this is giving me nightmares. I've tried to convince myself that there's a reasonable explanation for these movies being on his laptop but no explanation I come up with makes any sense to me. Is it possible that he's watching these movies out of curiosity? Some people can be into that kind of shit and not be gay, right? Also is it possible someone else put the movies on his laptop and he's not aware? My bro can't be gay. He's had a lot of girlfriends over the years that I know of so what is this shit I saw on his laptop? I'm thinking of confronting him but how do you ask your brother about something like this?
Nicki Minaj flaunts engagement ring after DJ Khaled proposal
Some of you might have heard that Nicki Minaj took a restraining order out against DJ Khaled after he proposed to her publicly...that report is false,
she never did. In fact just two days after the proposal, Nicki was spotted showing off a diamond engagement ring that looks like the $500k ring DJ Khaled proposed with.
Nicki isn't engaged to DJ Khaled but she's kinda playing along to help him promote his upcoming album. The two are said to be friends. Friends of Nicki say she found the public proposal funny.
Nicki is engaged to her long-time boyfriend and hype man, Safaree.
TEN THINGS TO REMEMBER IN LIFE
Someone has written these beautiful words, they are like the ten pearls to follow in life..........
1). Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble, rather it is the "steering wheel" that directs the right path throughout.
2). A cars windshield is so large and the rear view mirror is so small...why? Because our past is not as important as our future, so look ahead and move on.
3). Friendship is like a book; it takes a few seconds to burn but years to write.
4). All things in life are temporary: if going well, enjoy it, they will not last forever. If going wrong, don't worry, they can't last long either.
5). Old friends are Gold, new friends are Diamonds. If you get a diamond, don't forget the gold: because to hold a diamond, you always need a base of gold.
6). Often, when we lose hope and think this is the end, God smiles from above and says, "Relax, Sweetheart, its just a bend, not the end"
7). When God solves your problems, you have faith in His abilities; when God doesn't solve your problems, He has faith in your abilities that He has endowed you with.
8). A blind person once asked St. Anthony, "can there be anything worse than losing an eyesight? " he replied, "yes, losing your vision. "
9). When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them, and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.
10). Worrying and being anxious do not take away tomorrow's troubles, they just rob you of today's peace.

UK visa: Nigerians begin payment of £3,000 bond in November
Outcry against its £3,000 tourists visa bond notwithstanding, Britain will commence the scheme in the six listed Commonwealth countries in November,
Financial Times report quoted the Home Office as saying.
The Commonwealth countries to be affected by the policy which was announced in June are Nigeria, India, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The affected countries are considered to be source of “high risk” tourists to the UK.
Some visitors from the six countries, under the scheme, will be asked to pay a £3,000 cash bond in return for visitor visas that allow them to stay in the UK for up to six months.
According to official data, these six countries accounted for more than half a million visa applications in 2012.
There have been outpours of anger by governments of the affected countries, especially Nigeria and India against the policy.
A protest in India last month forced the British Prime Minister David Cameron to declare that final decision had not been taken on the policy, while the Nigerian government asked Britain to renounce the scheme.
The Federal Government, through the Foreign Affairs minister, Olugbenga Ashiru, had in June expressed “the strong displeasure of the government and people of Nigeria” over the “discriminatory” policy.
Ashiru warned British High Commissioner Andrew Pocock at a meeting in the minister’s office in Abuja, barely 24 hours after the policy was announced, that the move would “definitely negate” the two country’s commitment to double trade by 2014.
The minister told the British diplomat that Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation, had “a responsibility to take appropriate measures to protect the interest of Nigerians who may be affected by the proposed policy, if finally introduced.”
The British High Commission in Nigeria after the meeting issued a statement quoting Pocock as saying that his government planned to undertake “a very small scale trial of the use of financial bonds as a way of tackling abuse in the immigration system (which occurs when some people overstay their visa terms).”
He said that the details of the pilot scheme were still being worked out and if it goes ahead in Nigeria, it would affect only a very small number of the “highest risk” visitors.
“The vast majority would not be required to pay a bond. Those paying bonds would receive the bond back, if they abided by the terms of their visa,” he said.
More than 180, 000 Nigerians apply to visit Britain each year and about 70 percent or around 125, 000 of these applicants are successful, he said.
A Home Office official said the six countries highlighted were those with “the most significant risk of abuse”
The Home Office said on Friday that only individuals deemed “high-risk” would be asked to pay the bond. But some officials admits that the mere mention of a bond would be enough to deter visitors.
“In the long run, we are interested in a system of bonds that deters overstaying and recovers costs if a foreign national has used our public services,” an unnamed Home Office official said.
Ashiru said on Sunday that the UK embassy had not communicated to his office the plan to commence the bond scheme.
““They have not communicated with me,” the minister said when newsmen sought his reaction to the latest development.
In the UK, luxury goods retailers have denounced the plan as an “insulting deterrent” to wealthy tourists, which will hit sales and damage London’s reputation.
They are urging the government to drop the pilot, saying the restrictions will damage their business if Commonwealth tourists – particularly Nigerians, now the sixth biggest spenders on luxury goods in the UK – are put off.
“It’s embarrassing that our country would consider these measures against visitors who spend so much in our stores,” Managing Director of Harrods, Michael Ward, said .
“There seems to be a deeply frustrating attitude in Westminster that they should do whatever they can to actively prevent people coming to the UK,” Ward added.
Harrods is reputed to be the biggest department store in Europe, occupying a five-acre site in the royal precinct in London.
